A lien negotiator is responsible for gathering and totaling outstanding client billing/lien amounts, negotiating reasonable settlements, calculating pro-rata reductions for medical bills, obtaining final lien amounts from Medi-Cal/Medicare/private health insurance, and preparing closing statements/disbursements.
